Frequently Asked Questions About EOS Permian Services

A quick reference for common questions about EOS products, services, and ESG commitments. For anything not covered here, contact us and the team will respond directly.

1. General

Q: What does EOS do?

A: Environmental Oilfield Solutions provides clean chemistry products and field services for drilling, water treatment, completions, production, and environmental remediation. We help operators improve performance, manage risk, and align with ESG goals.

Q: Where does EOS operate?

A: EOS is based in the Permian and supports operators across the basin. For projects outside the region, reach out and we can review scope, timing, and logistics.

Q: Do you only support large operators?

A: No. EOS works with both large and mid-size operators, as well as water midstream and service partners. Programs are sized to the field need, from single-pad trials to multi-basin rollouts.

Q: How do I get started with EOS?

A: Contact us with a short description of your challenge, recent water or mud data if available, and operating schedule. We will propose a fit-for-purpose program and a plan for field validation.

2. Products and Chemistry

Q: What are EOS CleanTech platforms?

A: CleanTech products are modular chemistry platforms grouped by application, such as water treatment, drilling fluids, and remediation. Each product is designed to plug into specific stages of the upstream workflow.

Q: Can EOS chemistries run with my existing systems?

A: In most cases, yes. CleanTech products are engineered for compatibility with standard frac fleets, water treatment trains, and drilling fluid systems. EOS can run lab screening or field pilots to confirm compatibility.

Q: Do you offer non hazardous or reduced hazard options?

A: Yes. EOS prioritizes lower-hazard, environmentally forward chemistries, such as green acid, non hazardous detergents, and oxidant programs that reduce residual toxicity and waste volumes.

Q: How are products supplied in the field?

A: Products are supplied in totes, bulk tanks, or via on-site generation where appropriate. EOS can integrate with existing pumps and tanks or provide dedicated application equipment as part of the program.

3. Field Services

Q: What drilling services do you provide?

A: EOS supports drilling with chemical dosing trailers, rig wash and soap applicator units, cost-control dosing systems, single-use containments, and drilling fluid consulting. These services help manage H₂S, reduce chemical spend, and keep rigs cleaner and safer.

Q: What is on-the-fly water treatment?

A: On-the-fly water treatment uses EOS FLY Units to meter oxidants, inhibitors, and H₂S scavengers directly into frac water in real time. This keeps reuse water on spec without large storage or long contact times.

Q: Do you operate customer-owned equipment?

A: Yes. EOS frequently operates and maintains customer-owned water treatment systems and related equipment, supplying personnel, chemistry, and technical oversight without adding unnecessary equipment markups.

Q: What completions and production services are available?

A: EOS offers green-acid pumping for SWDs, pipeline pigging, and tank bottom solids control, providing personnel, chemicals, and equipment for turnkey jobs that protect assets and improve flow assurance.

Q: What environmental services does EOS provide?

A: Environmental services include spill consulting, remediation consulting, in situ soil treatment with CleanTech 400 Series, and regulator-ready closure reports stamped by a licensed geologist in Texas and New Mexico.

4. Safety, Compliance, and ESG

Q: How does EOS manage safety in the field?

A: EOS follows customer site rules and internal procedures for PPE, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Programs are designed to reduce exposure, simplify handling, and minimize confined-space and high-pressure risks.

Q: Do you provide SDS and technical documentation?

A: Yes. Each product has an SDS and supporting technical data. EOS can also provide blend summaries, application guides, and field performance reports where operators have approved sharing.

Q: How do EOS solutions support ESG goals?

A: EOS focuses on chemistry and services that reduce hazardous waste, support higher water reuse, lower emissions tied to transport and disposal, and help operators meet evolving environmental standards.

Q: Are your programs compliant with state and federal regulations?

A: EOS designs programs with regulatory requirements in mind and supports customers with documentation, sampling plans, and closure reporting to help maintain compliance.

5. Commercial and Engagement

Q: How are EOS services priced?

A: Pricing depends on chemistry selection, volume, equipment requirements, and staffing. EOS can price by volume treated, by job, or through performance-based structures where appropriate.

Q: Can we run a pilot before a full rollout?

A: Absolutely. EOS encourages pilots or trial pads to validate performance, confirm compatibility, and optimize dosage before large-scale deployment.

Q: What information should I share before a proposal?

A: Helpful inputs include recent water or mud analysis, site layout and equipment list, target KPIs, current chemistries and costs, and upcoming schedules. EOS can work with limited data and refine as more information becomes available.

Q: How do I contact EOS for support?

A: Use the contact form, email, or phone number on the Contact page to reach the team. For urgent field issues, please call your EOS account representative directly.
